NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Saturday, November 7
Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?
Moneyball16: Connor McDavid
TastefulTides: Connor McDavid
Hunter4ever89: Connor McDavid
How do you plan to beat the field of opponents in the tournaments you will be playing? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Moneyball16: I always think that 2-man combos in which both guys are on the same main line and on the same power-play unit are underrated, and I think tonight exemplifies that. McDavid/Draisaitl is the obvious one, but also Robertson/Hintz and Johnston/Rantanen for DAL. You can oftentimes find PP1-correlated defensemen to pair with them too.
TastefulTides: I will be playing into the Dallas value pretty heavily. You can add Jason Robertson, but I might leave him off so that I can use my salary for other expensive pieces (like players from Edmonton). I also think that getting to some Carolina stacks or one-offs is a really interesting way to get different on this slate.
Hunter4ever89: I am going to narrow down my player pool as much as possible. As TastefulTides mentioned, DAL has some solid value, as does CAR 2 and EDM 2. COL and EDM are among the clear spend-up options that I want exposure to, along with some Lightning pieces against the Wild on the second half of a back-to-back and starting Calvin Pickard in goal, someone who has underwhelmed in his first 2 starts this season.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
