What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: Large-field GPPs – In these gigantic slates, I think a lot of the lower-owned lines that have full power-play correlation go undervalued. I will likely have solid pieces of the top 2 lines for Seattle, VAN1, and will at least match ownership on the top lines for Carolina, Tampa, Montreal and the Rangers. These lines all have the potential for multiple goals where all 3 players get points. Also, do not overreact to the first few games of the season, as it is still early.

TastefulTides: Single-entry and 3-max contests are my preferred format. We’ve seen ownership get really spread out on these massive slates. That will allow me to get to my favorite plays without any constraints. The Wild and the Oilers are my favorite teams on this slate. If looking to get some diversity in your GPP, I think the Rangers are a team that has some really nice upside.

Hunter4ever89: Single-entry and 3-max are my preferred formats for these larger slates. I intend to narrow down my player pool to just 3-line stacks or 4-line stacks with a select group of one-off or value plays.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
