What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Moneyball16: I prefer to play large-field GPPs on this slate. On a smaller 4-game slate like this, I think stacking your goalie with one of your lines becomes a good play. There are only 4 winning goalies on the slate, and if one of your stacks hits enough to give you a chance at a big score, it very likely means that their goalie will have enough support to win as well.

Hunter4ever89: I will be playing in single-entry tournaments and high-stakes, small-field contests again today. With 4 games starting in 3 different time slots, I will be looking for any late news in warmups to gain an edge. With most teams playing yesterday, we most likely won’t get news on line combinations before pregame warmups. Look in the RotoGrinders NHL Discord about 15 minutes before each game locks. I also like playing full lines in tournaments, even if they don’t have full power-play correlation. Ivan Barbashev and Marco Rossi are prime examples of that tonight. They tend to have lower ownership, and if they can score a couple goals at even strength, it can help propel you to the top of GPPs.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
