What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. There are some really lopsided matchups on the board. Despite the travel issues they had getting out of Chicago, I am still going to be loading up on the Avs. The Blue Jackets are an above-.500 team, but they give up the 6th-most goals per game this season. For value, I like pieces of Edmonton and Pittsburgh.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – There’s little value to be had, but that should keep ownership in check, especially for the big names. I prefer more of a balanced build, with Edmonton and Montreal as my top targets, and punting one or more positions in order to get the most out of my top stack.

Joda: Large-field tournaments are my preferred format tonight. Finding salary savings is trickier than usual, so I am more inclined to build balanced, mid-tier rosters for GPPs. Montreal’s top line is reasonably priced in a rivalry game against a Boston team that has lost 9 straight games. St. Louis’ top 6 has a strong matchup at home against the Penguins. Likely this season’s Hart Trophy winner, Leon Draisaitl, and Edmonton draw the strongest matchup of the night against San Jose.
