What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. On a 12-game slate where I anticipate ownership will be fairly spread out, I am not going to shy away from favorite players and stacks. The Avalanche are my top team, and with Valeri Nichushkin due to miss this game, the power-play stack becomes much cheaper. When it comes to choosing a goalie on a large slate such as this, I am going to try to aim for volume versus worrying about chasing the win. You will likely have to hit a ceiling performance from the goalie position to win a GPP.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Ownership will likely be spread out on tonight’s 12-game slate, and I will likely build around the top lines from Colorado, Tampa, and Winnipeg with their soft matchups. I’ll look to differentiate my lineups with my secondary stacks and by taking advantage of the value available at various positions without sacrificing pieces from my core.

Joda: Single-entry is my preferred format tonight. With the large number of games, I find it easier to keep a tight core and not worry as much about ownership, which should be spread out given the context of the slate. The Avalanche are rolling right now, but Valeri Nichushkin is out, so we could see Bednar tinker with lines, especially if they get off to a slow start. For that reason, I am not as high on Colorado in large-field tournaments. I think Vegas or Tampa Bay and their full correlation make more sense in that format.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
