What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. Colorado is the low-hanging fruit on tonight’s slate. They have the highest implied team total, playing against one of the worst defenses in the NHL. That being said, there are plenty of teams that I would consider very strong pivots. The Oilers, Hurricanes, and Lightning all have high-end stacks that can break this slate.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Colorado and Edmonton immediately stand out with their great matchups at home, with Tampa Bay and Florida also in consideration. I’m planning on spreading my exposure to those four teams, focusing on the top lines from Colorado and Edmonton while targeting some value from Tampa Bay and the Florida Panthers. I prefer finding savings on defense rather than spending down at goalie tonight, as I don’t think the risk is worth the reward on tonight’s slate.
Joda: Single-entry tournaments are my preferred format for this slate. Colorado and Edmonton were disappointing in smash spots on Tuesday night, but the matchups are just as strong tonight. Given the offensive firepower on this slate, I prefer a stars-and-scrubs roster construction, taking advantage of cheap PP1 one-off pieces like Mackie Samoskevich and Jackson Blake.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
