NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings Expert Survey for Tuesday, March 24

Who is your favorite skater to spend up for in cash games?

TastefulTides: Nathan MacKinnon
boggslite: David Pastrnak
Joda: David Pastrnak

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

TastefulTides: Single entry is my preferred format. With a huge 15-game slate, I am really not concerned with ownership. I am simply going to play what I think are the best plays. The Avalanche top line is my favorite overall stack, but they are by no means a must. I really like the Predators in a huge game against the Sharks. The Bruins are also in a really good matchup. It isn’t just David Pastrnak either. There are some really good value pieces on the Bruins that pair nicely with the more expensive stacks.

boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Outside of Nathan MacKinnon and David Pastrnak, I will be more focused on matchups than loading up on elite talent. The Ducks, Sharks, and Islanders’ top lines are all affordable and have great matchups to exploit, so I plan on mixing and matching those lines and potentially fading big names like Nikita Kucherov and Zach Werenski in tougher matchups.

Joda: Large-field GPPs – With 30 teams in action, I expect a lot of unique rosters, so I am not too concerned with one particular player or team. Boston and Colorado are my favorite teams, as David Pastrnak and Nathan MacKinnon are fantastic one-offs, and we have a lot of cheap options at our disposal to make it all work. Toronto and Pittsburgh have really struggled defensively of late. San Jose is my under-the-radar stack in a must-win matchup in Nashville.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
