What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and small-field GPPs are my preferred format. It’s a small slate, with Colorado being the clear and obvious chalk. It’s going to be really hard to fade the primary pieces of the Avalanche offense. I am going to load up on Colorado, but I am going to make sure to be different with my value pieces and goalie selection.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Colorado is the top team to target on this slate with a juicy matchup against Chicago, but there is also merit to turning to Toronto or New York if you want to get different in tournaments. Even without quality punt options, I still prefer loading up and taking a stars and scrubs approach to lineup construction tonight.
