What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
TastefulTides: Single-entry and smaller-field GPPs are my preferred tournament format. On smaller slates, I try to over-stack chalkier teams or fade them completely. Colorado is the obvious chalk. If I elect to play them, I will want to get to 5 or 6 to make sure that my roster is different. If I fade them, I will be looking to play the Capitals or the Kings.
boggslite: Large-field tournaments – Colorado is a tough fade in this matchup with Chicago, but I actually like both sides of this game with Colorado banged up and starting an unproven goalie. The Kings’ depth lines offer nice value, and Washington draws a depleted Vancouver team if you want to be contrarian.
