NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, January 15
Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
Moneyball16: Nicolas Roy – With Eichel and Karlsson on the mend and Stephenson missing practice yesterday with the flu, there are a lot of center minutes for Roy to slide into. He played over 20 minutes on Saturday compared to his usual 15 this season, and he should be playing with Jonathan Marchessault and Ivan Barbashev tonight. Roy has always been overqualified on the fourth line, so it is nice to see him move up the depth chart.
ezellmt: Kirill Kaprizov – With most opting to pay up for Colorado, Kaprizov will be underowned for a 4-game slate. The numbers haven’t been as elite as usual for him, but the upside is still there, thanks to his shot volume and power-play prowess.
