NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, January 8

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Moneyball16: Brock Faber – The defense corp for the Wild is completely decimated again, and Faber is regularly playing around 30 minutes a game and top power-play minutes. The minutes create a nice floor of shots and blocked shots for his price, and the powerplay usage creates nice GPP upside that correlates with other good plays on the slate.

ezellmt: Brock Faber – It’s rare for a player to ever see 30+ minutes regularly, but it’s even crazier when that player is around $4,000 in salary. Even though he hasn’t been tremendously efficient, the volume alone has been enough for great production. He’s had the 3+ blocked shot bonuses in three of his last four and also had two power-play assists in his last game.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
