NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, January 2
Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
Moneyball16: Nathan MacKinnon – You can go Pastrnak here too, but what I like more about MacKinnon is that you can be more confident that if MacKinnon goes off, we will know which stacks he’ll bring with him. The Bruins seem to play Pastrnak with all sorts of combinations, and he often leaves his linemates behind even when he has a huge night.
ezellmt: Filip Forsberg – His goalscoring prop of +110 is the same as someone like McDavid and just behind some of the other studs at a cheaper price tag. The Blackhawks are coming off back-to-back games against the Stars, where they allowed a total of 13 goals. In two prior games against Chicago this season, Forsberg managed a pair of assists and ten shots on goal. He didn’t manage to score in either, but I think that changes tonight at home.
Joda: David Pastrnak – Columbus continues to suffer from numerous injuries. They have allowed the 2nd-most goals per game in the NHL. Pastrnak has been one of the most consistent players once again this season and is the clear-cut spend at wing. He is a great option in all formats.
