NHL DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Wednesday, December 6
Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
TastefulTides: Jach Eichel – It’s a four-game slate, so all of the big names will garner some ownership. I do think the Eichel and VGK1 will come in lower than TB, PIT, and EDM, and possibly even FLA’s top six pieces. Eichel has been hot as of late, putting up an average of 30 DK points over his last three games. St. Louis has a wide range of outcomes and are very inconsistent defensively and with their goaltending. If Eichel gets lowish ownership, he and his linemates are players I want to be overweight on in GPPs.
boggslite: Sidney Crosby – This is more due to his steep price, but Crosby and the top line for PIT have been among the top lines in xGF/60 at even strength this season. I would prefer him to have home ice in this matchup but with both teams uncharacteristically struggling on defense this season, Crosby should be able to break through in a game where goals should be scored by both teams.
What’s your hot take of the slate?
TastefulTides: Carolina shuts out Edmonton.
boggslite: PIT/TB combine for 9+ goals.
