NHL Slate Summary: Tuesday, February 19th

As typical for a Tuesday evening, it’s going to be a busy night on the ice in the NHL.

We have a very interesting nine-game slate on tap with plenty of playoff position up for grabs. While we do have the likes of Sidney Crosby, Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews on the slate, squeezing under the salary cap doesn’t seem too difficult today, making mining for value a bit less necessary.

Things to Consider

Nikita Kucherov is having himself quite the week. He’ll put a five-game point streak on the line tonight in Philadelphia that has seen him rack up a ridiculous seven goals and 11 assists. He’ll likely see a heavy dose of Sean Couturier pestering defense, but it hasn’t slowed him down a bit in their previous meetings this season, as he’s torched the Flyers for a goal and five assists in their first two battles.
