NHL Slate Summary: Tuesday, November 5th

Each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, a daily fantasy hockey analyst will overview the upcoming daily fantasy hockey slate, picking out the most favorable sports to attack. NOTE: This article will primarily focus on FanDuel and DraftKings NHL DFS contests.

Tuesday, November 5th

Tonight is a very juicy 11-game slate that includes three teams on the second-half of a back-to-back. Those teams are the Boston Bruins, Ottawa Senators and Arizona Coyotes.

Some General Observations

Let’s start off with the Boston Bruins — more specifically their incredible top line of Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, and the NHL leader in points (29) and goals (14), David Pastrnak. This trio has combined for an unbelievable 31 goals and 72 points in just 14 games. I now have a rule — that I have broken on two straight Boston slates — “Play BOS1, or fade the slate”. I played the slate and faded BOS1. It didn’t work. Despite their back-to-back situation, it is impossible to ignore them. Fade at your own risk.
