What is going on Grinders?! NFL Season is always exciting, and this year we are bringing you a weekly article to cover the unique GPP format over at No House Advantage! Of course, because of my love for props, I’ll be bringing the heat every week to try and help you guys take down some big money over there. As NFL props become more popular, we are seeing some very unique contests and No House Advantage is just that!
No House Advantage GPP Format
No House Advantage has a GPP contest that allows you to pick 7 different players. Each prop will represent a number of points, starting at 1 point and sequentially up to 7 points. Thus, the 7 players you select are critical to your success. The idea is to select the prop that will give you 7 points as the one you feel best about. The prop that will give you 1 point might be one you feel good about as well, but make sure for 7 points it’s your “lock button”, so to speak. So ultimately, Player 1 will give you 1 point, Player 2 will give you 2 points, Player 3 will give you 3 points, etc. I think you get the idea here.
No House Advantage has given us some really good GPP contests this week. This format is fantastic for those of you that love props as much as I do, because we get to merge the DFS concept with our love for props. It’s the best of both worlds if you ask me.
Each week I am hoping to put you on a few plays that should yield tremendous success and put you in a position to take down 1st place. Let’s dig in!
Key Selections for Week 17 NFL Props
I’m going to provide you with my three favorite picks for your 7, 6, and 5 point slots. This week we are covering the TNF showdown between the Cowboys and Titans.
7 Point Slot: Michael Gallup – 4.5 Receptions
Michael Gallup has played fine since coming back into the lineup off of his injury this season, but he’s not been spectacular and I have a hunch that Tennessee will be resting some players this week. As a result, he may not be needed to win this game at all. I think 4.5 receptions has been tough even with a normal situation, and now that we may see Tennessee with a B team lineup I’m inclined to take the under here big time.
Pick: Under 4.5 Receptions
6 Point Slot: Dak Prescott – 270.5 Passing Yards
I don’t think Dak will be needed to push the ball down the field on Thursday night. In keeping the theme that Tennessee will rest players I think we see Dallas get off in the rushing attack here. For that reason, I don’t see Dak piling up the yards. I definitely think he passes 200, but I think getting past 270 is a stretch here. Give me plenty of the rushing and less of the passing for the win.
Pick: Under 270.5 Passing Yards
5 Point Slot: Ezekiel Elliott – 61.5 Receiving Yards
We are seeing Zeke continue to get fed the rock even with Tony Pollard in the mix. They are giving both of these guys their opportunities and I like Zeke for the over here. In a game where they should be in control from start to finish I love the opportunities we should get late in this game for them to “feed” him the rock. As a result of this type of volume I love this prop and circumstance. See what we did there (Pomp and Circumstance reference if you didn’t get it. LOL)
Pick: Over 61.5 Rushing Yards
Closing Thoughts
My hope is that this article gives you a better chance to be in the winners circle every week for the contests you enter. For this Thursday Night Football game, we are leaning on the Titans sitting players to help turn our selections into a huge week. Let’s Win!
