Week 3
My friends, I hope the first two weeks have treated you well. I’ve been able to scrape out a profit in DFS both weeks, but betting on football has been a completely different story. Whether you are off to a good start or a bad start, there is plenty of time to right the ship.
When doing content, it’s easy to speak in hyperbole. You’ll often hear the terms “best,” “greatest,” and “worst of all time.” Try as I might, I can’t avoid it when talking about Week 3. This is one of the toughest priced slates I can ever remember. A lot can change before Sunday and I’ll cover the important injuries to monitor, but this is not a week where you are going to love every player in your lineups.
Ugly is the new sexy.
Quarterback
This week couldn’t be any more different than last when it comes to the quarterback options. We had four or five of the top quarterbacks in the league playing in the primetime games, but we don’t have to worry about that this week. Mitch Trubisky, Jacoby Brissett, Jimmy Garappolo, Russell Wilson, Daniel Jones, and Cooper Rush are the quarterbacks starting in primetime. This means all of the top talent is available on the main slate.
This is a week where your quarterback might not be the difference maker in your lineup because there are so many good plays. We should also see spread out ownership, which is always a positive. I have my favorite targets, but don’t be afraid to look elsewhere if you have different thoughts at the position.
