I love being able to play new sites with new formats and am thrilled that we have a new site breaking into the salary cap space. It is my hope that from this content, we will have a few GPP-winning slips along the way. Thank you for joining me each week on the journey to 1st place!
OwnersBox NFL DFS Format
What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox! This site is very creative for NFL, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. Straightforward football builds. No kickers, no defenses, just the position players that get it done for us week in and week out. Did I mention there was a Superflex?! Yes, we have the ability to play two quarterbacks in the format over at OwnersBox. It consists of the following positions: QB, RB x2, WR x2, TE, Flex x2, and the Superflex, which could be a QB/RB/WR/TE. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.
Top NFL DFS Picks for Week 13
I’m in love with this slate this week. We have so many good spots to get involved in, and the ownership will congregate around a certain lineup construction. All I think we will need to do is make a few pivots to the right players and hopefully experience the GPP takedown that we have been looking for.
Sam Howell ($6,300)
The theory behind Howell is fairly simple this week. This team is facing the Miami Dolphins and should be playing from behind for most of this game. One of the things that I love about Howell is that he will push the ball down the field. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, this man will be passing. On the season, he has over 3,000 passing yards and will be adding to that total yet again this week. He’s already throwing the ball over 40 times a game, and all these data points combined suggest that he could have a nice game from a contrarian perspective.
A.T. Perry ($3,600)
It’s a brutal time for the Saints locker room, however, opportunities have been created for the others. In comes AT Perry. In college, this guy was electric at times, and he will get his chance to shine. I think he is the most stable receiver here and Carr has to throw the ball to someone. Perry was on the field for 74% last week, and 84% the prior playing week. This is a great indication that we will own the market share this week. I’m looking for a nice week for Perry and you should too.
Terry McLaurin ($5,600)
I want to handcuff McLaurin with Howell this week. McLaurin has had some sporadic production, but the opportunities are still there. He saw 11 targets last week, and typically sees 7-8 on the low end. At this price, McLaurin is not only one of the better values, but should possess some ceiling here. The Dolphins defense has improved since Ramsey has come into the fold, but I think they get a little softer the later they get into the game playing with a big lead. Give me McLaurin to put up big numbers late in this game.
Week 13 Closing Thoughts
There are some interesting matchups this week across the board, and I want to continue to take shots on high-upside plays every week. This week is no different. Let’s meet at the top of the leaderboards friends!
