What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox! This site is very creative for the NFL, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. Straightforward football builds. No kickers, no defenses, just the position players that get it done for us week in and week out. Did I mention there was a Superflex?! Yes, we have the ability to play two quarterbacks in the format over at OwnersBox. It consists of the following positions: QB, RB x2, WR x2, TE, Flex x2, and the Superflex, which could be a QB/RB/WR/TE. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.
Top NFL DFS Picks for Week 18
Well, we made it to the end of the regular season, and I hope I’ve helped you to uncover some nuggets along the way. The playoffs are just around the corner, and a few teams still have something to play for. This is where we will plant our flag this week.
Dak Prescott ($7,300)
Give me Dak Prescott all day in this spot. He gets to face one of the worst secondaries in the NFL, and this is a MUST-WIN game. We have seen over the course of this season what he has done to teams under .500, and this situation is no different. We have mostly seen every team in the NFL be able to go off against Washington, and I have no doubt that he will do the same this week to carry this team to the number 1 seed in the NFC East and into the playoffs. I’m pairing him with CeeDee Lamb all over the place.
Mike Evans ($6,800)
You will continue to see the theme here of MUST WIN teams, and I’m going to settle in with Mike Evans. He has been the go-to receiver for Mayfield in most weeks, and the Panthers are just awful everywhere from top to bottom. If the Buccaneers win, they are in, and I’m looking for Evans to lead the charge in the receiver room. In the last game versus the Panthers, he had 7 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown. I don’t think he gets quite to those levels, but he should dominate yet again. He’s seen 8 or more targets in 10 of the 17 games played so far. I’m hoping we make it 11 of 18 and he helps us take down some tournaments.
Chris Olave ($6,000)
Olave is on the other side of this big day in the NFC South. If they win and Tampa Bay loses, they are also in. I love the fact that they get to close this thing out at home in one of the fastest-paced games on the slate. Olave has put together another thousand-yard season and could be in store for a huge day against the Falcons. Both teams have something to fight for, because if the Saints were to lose, the Falcons could get in with a Buccaneers loss as well. This should help set up the Saints to keep the pedal to the metal all game long. Olave has seen some monster target weeks over the season, and today should be one of those days. Just two games ago, we saw him get to 13 targets and turn that into 9 catches for 123 yards. Let’s get him to 10, and I think he also enters the optimal tournament-winning player level. I LOVE Olave this week. He is my top tournament option at WR.
