OwnersBox NFL DFS Format
What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox! This site is very creative for NFL, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. Straightforward football builds. No kickers, no defenses, just the position players that get it done for us week in and week out. Did I mention there was a Superflex?! Yes, we have the ability to play two quarterbacks in the format over at OwnersBox. It consists of the following positions: QB, RB x2, WR x2, TE, Flex x2, and the Superflex, which could be a QB/RB/WR/TE. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.
Top NFL DFS Picks for Week 6
I am thoroughly enjoying having terrible defenses and very attackable spots on what feels like every slate so far this year. Obviously, we are trying to work these plays into a perfect science, and if you have been able to play most of these, we have done fairly well. Let’s hop into this week’s strategy for success.
Justin Fields ($7,000)
The Bears running game lost all three running backs to injury in their victory against the Commanders. I love D’Onta Foreman as a running back and will definitely have exposure to him, but the limited running back situation leads me to believe that Fields will pick up a few more rushing opportunities this week, which should increase his upside. It can’t be overlooked that this team is facing the Vikings this week, and if they continue their hot first-half trend over the past couple of games, we could be looking at a monster performance from Fields even at the half.
Jimmy Garoppolo ($5,900)
This should be the best spot Jimmy has seen all year. You can make a case for several other offenses on this slate, but let me try to sell you on Jimmy here. This Patriots defense is dreadful. Points have been scored in bunches against this team, and Jimmy has a condensed group of weapons that will be used. Myers, Adams, and Jacobs will be the real heroes to get Jimmy the points we need. I think he’s able to throw for 3 touchdowns in this game as the Vegas Patriots (McDaniels/Garoppolo/Myers) get up to take down their former teams.
Adam Thielen ($5,800)
Adam Thielen is yet again going to make the list until they price him up at least reasonably like a #1 receiver. I don’t know what’s happening here with him. Yes, the Carolina offense has been dreadful at times, but this man continues to get peppered with targets. Did I mention that this team will most likely be playing from behind yet again? I don’t think it can be overlooked, and until they price him up, I’m going to ride this money train until the wheels fall off. Just to cement my case, these are his targets the last four weeks: 9, 14, 8, 13. Nacua was priced up immediately, yet Thielen is getting the value treatment. I’m loving this spot.
Week 6 Closing Thoughts
Bad defenses, bad defenses, and more bad defenses are creeping up every week. It’s our job to get the right combination of players to take us to the top. Let’s win, Grinders!
