What is up, Grinders! We are here to talk about OwnersBox! This site is very creative for NFL, as it has given us what we’ve been craving for what feels like an eternity. Straightforward football builds. No kickers, no defenses, just the position players that get it done for us week in and week out. Did I mention there was a Superflex?! Yes, we have the ability to play two quarterbacks in the format over at OwnersBox. It consists of the following positions: QB, RB x2, WR x2, TE, Flex x2, and the Superflex, which could be a QB/RB/WR/TE. This is revolutionary for the DFS enthusiast, and I am here to talk through a handful of plays each week that I hope carry us to the finish line.
Top NFL DFS Picks for Week 7
We have one game this week standing head and shoulders above the rest in terms of talent and possible scoring on the main slate. There are some other really good situations that I think we have the opportunity to exploit. Our ability to make really strong selections in these games feels like the key to our tournament takedown. Let’s hop in.
Marquise Brown ($5,300)
Marquise Brown is having a pretty nice season considering he has played with his backup quarterback. Not only is he on the field for most of the snaps, but he’s also picking up a ton of targets. He has double-digit targets in 4 out of 6 games this season. I anticipate that he will have another game close to these types of opportunities with a possible sneaky shoot-out with the Seahawks. The Seahawks rank 32nd in WR DVP this season, and I also anticipate that the Cardinals could be playing from behind in certain spots in this game. If things line up the way I hope this could be another high reception and high upside game for Mr. Brown.
Patrick Mahomes ($7,800)
This is the premium spot of the week on paper. Mr. Mahomes gets one of the best matchups on the board. It is the number 1 matchup for DVP, and while his weapons are Travis Kelce (and then everyone else), he should be carving this team up. He has been getting it done with a patchwork receiving corps by spreading the ball around to whoever he can get the ball to. There have been serious holes in this secondary all season, and I expect this to continue on Sunday with one of the most talented quarterbacks in our generation.
Joshua Palmer ($4,800)
When I plug Patrick Mahomes into a few lineups I will need some salary relief in 1 or 2 spots. I think Palmer is a GREAT tournament play this week. He’s very affordable and has been on the field with a really nice target share since Mike Williams went down. We saw him hit 97% of the snaps last week with 7 targets. If we see a replica of that this week, we should see him put up a nice performance. Once again, this game has one of the highest totals and I’m elated to grab Palmer at this price.
Week 7 Closing Thoughts
This feels like a big week for us coming up. There are some obvious spots, and I think as long as we get creative in those spots, we should come out victorious. I don’t think we have to fade all the chalk, and by incorporating a handful of plays that are off the radar, we can really put together a possible tournament-winning performance. LETS DO THIS!
