Packers vs. Cardinals Same Game Parlay Picks & Player Props
Kicking off at 8:20 eastern this evening, MVP candidate Kyler Murray and the high-flying Arizona Cardinals host reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football. With the absence of Davante Adams—and just about the entire receiving corps—due to COVID-19, the game has ballooned into a six-point spread in favor of the undefeated Cardinals. But we know better than to bet against ARodg in a primetime game. Instead, we’ll be assembling a neat and tidy Same Game Parlay on PointsBet.
For anyone living under a rock, a Same Game Parlay basically just means a parlay consisting of multiple correlated wagers from one specific game. It provides bettors with good options to bet a game—and piece together props into a parlay within that game—beyond just the standard spread, moneyline, and over/under totals.
Let’s just right into our Same Game Parlay of the Day for what should be an instant-classic of a Thursday Night Football game.

Thursday Night Football Props & Parlay Legs
Name a Bet: Any Quarterback Reaching 300+ Passing Yards (-180)
We always like to start our parlay with a solid foundation, and we feel very confident with this one. PointsBet is always thinking, and now they are actually allowing the betting public to submit their own requests for props to add as options in each game’s Same Game Parlay. This prop was one of them, and I love it! All we need is either Kyler Murray or Aaron Rodgers to throw for 300 passing yards? I’ll take it! Now we can root for offense all game—in a contest that’s bound to be pass-heavy—and we can be handsomely rewarded if and when one of these fantastic QBs hits an easily-attainable mark.
Rodgers has only reached 300 passing yards once this season, but he’s also not used to the level of competition he will be seeing in the desert this evening. During the Packers’ six-game winning streak, Green Bay has won by an average of 9.5 points per game. In order for the Pack to even sniff a victory this evening, ARodg will have to pull off some heroics. With Kyler Murray and his 286 passing yards per game on the other side, I fully expect a shootout for the ages this evening.
‘Same Game Teasers: Cardinals -0.5 / OVER 44.5 Points (-110)
I fully expect the Cardinals to pull this game off at home, just not by six points. So, I’m opting for another awesome leg, a two-prop teaser. PointsBet, take all my money now, because you are way too fun. Here, we are essentially picking the Cardinals to win and the total score to equal 45 or more points. That’s a very, very doable prop, even though it’s contingent on two different factors. The Cardinals have yet to lose this season, they dominate at home, and they almost always end up in high-scoring games. With the Packers missing wideouts Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, and Marquez Valdez-Scantling and elite cornerback Jaire Alexander, and Arizona without stud pass-rusher J.J. Watt, this one should easily venture closer to the 50-point range than 44. Pound this double-prop teaser leg with confidence.
Margins 13.5: Cardinals 1-13 (+125)
I love that I can bet multiple different score-related props, and still increase the value of my parlay substantially as I go. In this prop, I am picking a 13-point range, and guessing that Arizona will win by an amount that falls into that range. Like I just said in the last leg, I have the Cards winning, but I just don’t know how much they will win by. This prop adds value to the parlay, without adding much risk. I don’t expect Rodgers and elite running back Aaron Jones to allow Green Bay to get steamrolled, but I also don’t expect the Pack will have enough to prevail. Three of Arizona’s seven wins have been by between 1-13 points, while Green Bay has lost once—back in Week 1 against the Saints in Florida, which happens to be Rodgers’ kryptonite.
Anytime Touchdown Scorer: Aaron Jones (-130)
In order for Green Bay to have any chance tonight, running back Aaron Jones will have to play a big part. The dual-threat stud is no stranger to primetime heroics—he has 10 career TDs in primetime, and has scored three times in five total Thursday Night contests. With Adams and the majority of the wide receiver depth chart out due to COVID-19, Jones will receive a massive target share in addition to a healthy number of carries. His odds of scoring are very good this evening. Arizona yields the second-most yards per rushing attempt in the league.
Receiving Props: DeAndre Hopkins To Get 75+ Receiving Yards (+120)
We will finish the parlay off with a leg that’s just as doable as the first. DeAndre Hopkins remains one of the most elite receiving threats in football, and he always feasts on national television. And while Hopkins does have seven touchdowns this season, he has only eclipsed 75 receiving yards twice this season. He’s due for a monster! Nuk averages 76.6 receiving yards in Thursday Night Football contests, and 74.4 air yards in night games. This feels like a gimme, so maybe stay away because every time I say that, we lose. But if you’re bold and brazen like my crazy ass, dive on in with me and enjoy what should be an epic offensive battle!
