Thursday, March 15th

After an eventful Wednesday night in the National Hockey League we keep things rolling on this Thursday evening with a solid nine-game slate. The Los Angeles Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins and the Winnipeg Jets are your biggest favorites, and we have two teams (Toronto Maple Leafs and the Pittsburgh Penguins), playing on consecutive nights.

NOTE: Make sure to check the RotoGrinders Starting Goalies Page page prior to game time, to confirm that the goalies listed below are starting.

Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles Kings – If you are playing cash games tonight, and security is your thing, Jonathan Quick should be your goalie. The Los Angeles Kings are not only the biggest favorite tonight on this nine-game slate, but the Detroit Red Wings also has the lowest implied goal total on the night, so all indications are that Quick should cruise to an easy victory. The Detroit Red Wings have struggled to put the biscuit in the basket all year long (ranking 28th overall in the National Hockey League in goals per game), and I cannot not see them doing much offensive damage tonight at the Staples Center. The Kings netminder is a lock for the win this evening, and a second straight shutout for Quick is certainly a possibility as well.
