Tuesday, January 30th
After a four-day layoff for the All–Star break, we get back track on this Tuesday evening with 12 games of National Hockey League action. The Dallas Stars, Carolina Hurricanes, Nashville Predators and the St. Louis Blues are tonight’s biggest favorites, and of course, none of the 24 teams hitting the ice are playing on consecutive nights.

Carter Hutton, St. Louis Blues – It is another night where I am having trouble locking in to one goalie in cash games. The Carolina Hurricanes and the Dallas Stars are the two biggest favorites, but I just can’t trust either Cam Ward or Ben Bishop, and although Bishop seems like the safer option of the two, he may not see very many shots tonight, which brings me to Carter Hutton. The St. Louis Blues are also a decent sized favorite this evening and Hutton has been a rock in goal all season long, posting a 1.74 GAA and a .943 SV%. The Montreal Canadiens are a decent hockey club, but they have struggled to both win games (8-13-1), and score goals (26th overall in goals per game) on the road. Hutton may not be the highest scoring goalie tonight, but he should come away with the win, while making at least 25 saves in the process.
