Who is your favorite golfer for cash games?
Notorious: Ben Griffin
stlcardinals84: Seamus Power
JBails26: Seamus Power
hondizzle: Seamus Power
What will be your most-used data filter on the Rabbit Hole (besides the five main Strokes Gained categories) and why?
Notorious: SG: Short Par 70 and Par 71 Courses – The course this week does not play like most on the PGA TOUR. This is more of a technical track where golfers need to employ golf-course management. Focusing on courses that should play like this one is a good starting point.
stlcardinals84: With the extreme wind in the forecast, I do think we need to look at strokes gained in windy conditions as a great modeling tool. This also brings bogey avoidance into the mix a little more, and I will be using both of those along with overall approach proximity.
JBails26: Since high winds are expected, I’ll be using SG: Windy Conditions as a general tiebreaker. As of Tuesday afternoon, it looks like there will be sustained winds in the 15-25+ mph range for all four days of play. Be sure to check out Kevin Roth’s PGA weather report since that will have the most current forecast.
hondizzle: Strokes gained on coastal courses and or windy conditions would be a cool way to do a deep dive for this event. That type of filter would be more of a tiebreaker for me on golfers who are on the fence in terms of making my player pool.
