PGA DFS Showdown Picks and Projections – Round 2
I hope everyone thoroughly enjoyed the first round of The Masters. I was like a kid in a candy store. I had multiple screens with different feeds and soaked up as much of Augusta National as possible. It’s great seeing Tiger Woods, it’s hard to see anything fazing Scottie Scheffler, and it’s actually nice seeing all of the LIV golfers back with the PGA TOUR regulars. And to top it all off, my DFS lineups and my bets aren’t dead yet. All in all, it was a great day.
We now turn our attention to Round 2. We saw 30+ MPH gusts all day on Thursday and we can expect more of the same on Friday. The sustained winds should be a little worse in the afternoon, so perhaps there’s a slight edge for those going out early. I don’t see enough in the forecast to recommend a full AM stack, so I would only use tee times as a tiebreaker. In other words, if you are going back and forth between two golfers, maybe lean to the one with the earlier tee time.
I can’t wait to see what Augusta National has in store for us on Friday.
