PGA DFS Showdown Picks and Projections – Round 4
We should be in for a very interesting final round at the Texas Children’s Houston Open. We have five golfers tied at the top of the leaderboard and 12 golfers within two strokes of the lead. Scottie Scheffler is the odds-on favorite to win, but I will be rooting for Stephen Jaeger. He has been a DFS favorite of the RG community for years and I have a pre-tournament outright ticket on him. We’ve had enough heartbreak to last an entire season in the first three months of the year, so perhaps we’ll catch a much-needed break on Sunday.
For DFS purposes, I am treating Scheffler as a core play. It’s hard to envision a poor round from him. He’s the best golfer in the world, this course is demanding tee to green, and he has unlocked the secret to his putting. Given the fact that golfers will be going off split tees and in groups of three, there shouldn’t be a major edge on the weather front. With that said, the course could be softer for those who go out in the first handful of groups. As always, I will take some chances with golfers down the leaderboard.
