PGA DFS Showdown Picks and Projections – Round 4
Bryson DeChambeau holds a 3-shot lead over Rory McIlroy, Matthieu Pavon, and Patrick Cantlay heading into the final round of the U.S. Open. I have a serious rooting bias since I bet Bryson to win pre-tournament, but I know McIlroy could easily make a charge and win his first major in 10 years. I don’t have as much faith in Pavon and Cantlay, as their short games have been carrying them in the first three rounds.
I generally like to take an aggressive approach with Round 4 showdown, but the weather sets up well for those going out late. On top of that, there aren’t nearly as many scoring points with this difficult setup, which means finishing position points are more valuable than most weeks. I will still target a few golfers down the leaderboard, but I probably won’t venture too far past the top 30.
