Purdue vs. UConn PrizePicks Predictions Today

Zach Edey More/Less Than 24.5 Points

Zach Edey scored only 20 points in the Final Four against San Diego State, but it was the first time in the tournament this year that he finished with fewer than 23 points. Simply, Purdue’s offense runs through Edey, who is averaging more than twice as many points as any other member of the roster this season. In his last 3 games, Edey has played 38 minutes, 39 minutes, and 40 minutes, respectively. He might not come off of the floor tonight – and he almost certainly won’t go down without a fight on the offensive end. Expect Edey to be aggressive around the rim as he and his team try to stop UConn from repeating as champions.

Cam Spencer More/Less Than 14.0 Points

Entering play on Monday, Cam Spencer has scored 14+ points in 3 of UConn’s 5 tournament games to date this season. He’s consistently been involved in the offense, regardless of game script, attempting at least 9 field goal attempts in each tournament game, including 3 games with at least 11 shot attempts. He figures to see a healthy number of opportunities again this evening, making him worthy of consideration at this number.

Donovan Clingan More/Less Than 13.5 Points

In 5 tournament games, Donovan Clingan has played at an extremely high level, averaging 16.2 points on 10.8 field goal attempts. Notably, as the tournament has progressed, he has become even more involved in the offense – attempting 13 shots against Illinois and 14 shots against Alabama in the Elite 8 and Final Four, respectively. His 29 minutes against Alabama this past Saturday were the most he’s played since the Big East Tournament Final on March 16. In the national championship, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Clingan once again flirt with 30 minutes, which should give him ample time to get the job done here.
