Raiders vs. Chiefs NFL Player Props for Monday, December 25th
- Travis Kelce OVER 5.5 Receptions
- Rashee Rice OVER 67.5 Receiving Yards
- Davante Adams UNDER 5.5 Receptions
Travis Kelce OVER 5.5 Receptions (-130), FanDuel
Since Antonio Pierce took over as head coach of the Raiders prior to Week 9, Las Vegas has allowed at least 5 receptions to tight ends in four of their five games. Travis Kelce has experienced somewhat of slump following the Chiefs’ bye week, with zero 100-yard receiving games and only one game with more than 6 receptions, but his best game during that time period came in Week 12 against the Raiders – collecting 6 receptions on 7 targets for 91 receiving yards.
For narrative lovers out there, Kelce is 76 receiving yards away from having his 8th consecutive 1,000-yard season. No other tight end in league history has more than four, according to NFL.com. Taylor Swift will be in attendance. Expect Kelce to be heavily involved on Monday as the Chiefs continue their chase of the 1-seed in the AFC.
Rashee Rice OVER 67.5 Receiving Yards (-110), FanDuel
Entering play in Week 16, Rachee Rice has four consecutive games with at least 64 receiving yards and has been targeted at least 9 times in each of those contests. It is abundantly clear at this point in the season that Rice is the only wide receiver on the team that has earned the trust of Patrick Mahomes, which means that Rice is likely to continue being a frequent target in this offense.
The Raiders have been extremely vulnerable against opposing team’s top wideout as well, ranking 20th in DVOA this fall. In recent weeks, they have allowed 113 receiving yards to Josh Palmer, 107 receiving yards to Rashee Rice, 146 receiving yards to Tyreek Hill, and 93 receiving yards to Garrett Wilson. Rice is well-positioned for another strong performance in this spot.
Davante Adams UNDER 5.5 Receptions (+110), BetMGM
Davante Adams had 73 receiving yards the first time the Raiders played the Chiefs this season, but he still only had 5 receptions. Kansas City has been extremely tough on opposing team’s top wideout this year, ranking 7th in DVOA. In December, Christian Watson is the only opposing receiver to have more than 5 receptions in a game against Kansas City. This is a tough spot for Adams, making the under a worthwhile risk at plus money.
