Primetime Parlay: Rams vs. Packers Same Game Parlay Picks

Rams vs Packers Same Game Parlay

ScoresAndOdds’ ParlayIQ tool uses thousands of simulations of RotoGrinders’ statistical projections to help bettors gain on edge when building same-game parlays. We will examine stats, roster news, trends, player props, and betting odds across sports betting sites to find the best price for our same-game parlay ticket. For this article, we build a Monday Night Football same-game parlay for the Rams vs Packers.

Where is the flex option? We close NFL Week 15 with a wildly uninspiring contest between the Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers. Baker Mayfield defeated the Raiders in his Los Angeles debut with only a couple of days or prep time with his new team. Could Mayfield find a way to salvage his career with continued strong play on the road against the Packers? Will Aaron Rodgers be able to stave off elimination for one more week? Let’s build a same-game parlay ticket on FanDuel Sportsbook to give us a sweat on Monday night.

Same Game Parlay for Rams vs. Packers

At the time of this writing, the Packers are 7-point favorites at home against the Los Angeles Rams. The implied game total sits at 39.5 with a smidge of juice (-115) on the under. Per SAO, 59% of the betting tickets fall on the Packers’ side with only 52% of the money. Despite this relatively minimal discrepancy, the spread has moved from opening at -9.5. Do we have Baker believers?

The game total opened at 41.5 points and has steadily moved to the number on Monday morning. With the help of 86% of betting money, nobody is shocked that number plummeted. With 74% of tickets on the over and a massive volume of money the other way, perhaps the under should be considered as a parlay leg.

For injuries, the Packers don’t think Romeo Doubs can handle a full complement of snaps after returning from injury. Aaron Jones was limited in back-to-back practices but seems very likely to play on Monday night. Stalwart tackle, David Bakhtiari, will not play after an emergency appendectomy prior to Week 13.

For the Rams John Wolford and Aaron Donald both were ruled out for Monday Night Football. This clears the path for Baker Mayfield to make his first official start for the Rams. Mayfield will be backed up by Bryce Perkins.

Kevin Roth provides a very cold forecast for this game with temperatures nearly 15 degrees. Some snow is possible, but Roth mentions the freezing cold normally doesn’t impact offense that much — only at the extremes. This is pretty extreme and any snowfall makes the under feel more palatable.

Maybe we will receive the aesthetic of a snowy game in Lambeau Field to make this game more fun and interesting. The added character will not be enough. We need to build a same-game parlay to sweat for Monday Night. Let’s pick some props and plays.

Same Game Parlay Picks – Rams & Packers Props

Cam Akers Over 55.5 Rushing Yards

So, I have come to terms with a few things after going over my favorite plays for this evening. First, the Rams sure did get plenty of primetime games after their Super Bowl victory. I know this because I have steadily incorporated Cam Akers into most of my tickets.

Yet, here we go again. Akers is the running back in LA that is monopolizing backfield touches — receiving 12 carries last week as compared to 3 and 1 for Kyren Williams and Malcolm Brown. Green Bay is ranked 30th in the league in yards per rush attempt and allowing 5.7 yards per attempts over the last few games. With the weather being tricky and the Rams likely looking to keep Baker Mayfield safe, shouldn’t Akers get the football?

We are rolling with Cam again just one last time. I happen to need Akers to score nearly 19 fantasy points to move on in a Best Ball tournament so I might as well hitch my entire wagon to him this evening.

AJ Dillon Over 10.5 Receiving Yards

If we click on Cam Akers to start our ticket, AJ Dillon is projected to see at least 11 receiving yards in 66% of our simulations per ParlayIQ. With Aaron Jones potentially a little knicked up coming into this contest, Dillon could receive a bit more work. Dillon has at least ten receiving yards in three straight games.

The Packers use both backs interchangeably and will likely give both Jones and Dillon opportunities in the passing game. The Rams defense is still pretty stingy to opposing running backs — Aaron Rodgers might need to let a few go quickly to stay out of dodge.

I am not really high on many of the other props on the Green Bay side. AJ Dillon is going to close out the home team for our ticket.

Ben Skowronek Over 30.5 Receiving Yards

With Mayfield under center, Ben Skowronek put together his best performance of the season. The receiver was targeted 8 times and converted 7 of them for 89 receiving yards.

While I do think the Rams would prefer to keep the ball on the ground, Mayfield is going to have to throw the ball downfield to keep the defense honest. The Green Bay defense boasts a league-worst 8.7 yards per pass attempt over the last three weeks. The screws are coming loose off of the machine. We might be able to see a couple of Rams’ receivers clear very light yardage props.

Tutu Atwell Over 32.5 Receiving Yards

Speaking of Rams’ receivers clearing small receiving totals, Tutu Atwell closes our parlay. Like Skowronek, Atwell saw plenty of targets last week and seems to be a priority for the Rams without Cooper Kupp and Allen Robinson.

Atwell sees touches on the ground and in the air and has shown flashes of upside in his rookie season. With nothing left to play for, I will not be surprise to see Atwell continue to be featured as the Rams looks to evaluate where they are next season.

So, of all things, a ticket with three Rams’ props. I didn’t think I would see the day at the end of this football season. This might signal we are ready to move on! Good luck, everyone.
