Ravens vs. Buccaneers – NFL Player Props
- Lamar Jackson Over/Under 51.5 Rushing Yards
- Baker Mayfield Over/Under 13.5 Rushing Yards
- Baker Mayfield Over/Under 24.5 Completions
Lamar Jackson OVER 51.5 Rushing Yards (-110, FanDuel)
“Skinny Lamar” enters Week 7 with at least 40 rushing yards in each of Baltimore’s first 6 games this fall. Lamar Jackson reportedly lost weight this past offseason in an effort to be more lethal as a runner, and the net result of that has been a clear willingness to leave the pocket. Jackson has double-digit carries 4 games already this season, and tonight, he gets a good matchup against a relatively weak Tampa Bay linebacker corps. This is a very playable number.
Baker Mayfield UNDER 13.5 Rushing Yards (-115, Bally)
Baker Mayfield has eclipsed this market number in 4 of his team’s 6 games so far in 2024, but this rate of rushing seems unsustainable for a player who had single-digit rushing yards in each of his last 6 regular season contests in 2023. Last season, Mayfield only averaged 9.6 rushing yards per game. Baltimore’s defense enters play ranked 27th in EPA/play and 23rd in success rate against the pass, so it would be surprising to see Mayfield abandoning the pocket to run too frequently.
Baker Mayfield UNDER 24.5 Completions (-132, Bally)
The market is clearly expecting Baker Mayfield to throw the ball a lot on Monday Night Football, but this is a very high market number for any quarterback to clear in a competitive game script. Even the pass-happy Tampa Bay offense has only enabled Mayfield to have 25+ completions in 2 of the team’s first 6 games. In one of those games, Mayfield completed an unsustainable 75.8% of his pass attempts. This is simply a play on the math, which clearly favors the under.
