In Case You Missed It
- Pelican’s Mascot Breaks Beak, Still Better than the 76ers –
The New Orlean’s Pelican’s mascot ran into the hoop stantion breaking it’s beak, and will require beak surgery. In the process of breaking his beak, he actually scored more fantasy points in the season long Mascot’s League, than the entire Philadelphia 76ers team did in their last two games in Standard Scoring Leagues. I recommend stashing Pierre the Pelican on your bench, and once he’s off the IR, subbing him in for any 76er.
- Tickets, Tickets, Get Your Tickets – McJester punched his first ticket to the Showcase on DraftKings, riding a very balanced team, but getting a surprisingly big game from Tyreke Evans. tthousand66 grabbed his ticket as well in the $270, using his biggest performance from Kyle Lowry.
Today’s Events
- NBA GPPs Tonight – Tonight on the seven game schedule, we’ve got a fair amount of GPP action going down. The Showcase continues qualifying with the $109 already full, but very affordable $11 still with room. Tonight on FanDuel the $65,000 Slam is paying out $8,000 to first place with it’s $25 entry. StarStreet is running satellites this evening to all three of it’s Playboy Basketball Championship qualifiers, including the next Streak to the Mansion.
- The Well with STLCardinals84 – Our popular feature The Well is back in the forums. After successful runs with Naapstermaan, Headchopper and Al_Smizzle, STLCardinals84 is jumping in this time. Much like a reddit AMA, these forums bring a great opportunity to learn about your favorite Grinders. Check it out over here: STLCardinals84 The Well
- Olympic Hockey on Fantasy Feud – Feeling some NHL withdrawal already? Have no fear, Fantasy Feud is running Olympic hockey contests that run the length of the games. They’re also running a free-roll to their Third Period hockey championship. You have no reason not to head over there and get your Olympic sweat on.
