Good morning grinders, and welcome to the weekend edition of the Rise & Grind. This is the spot where you come running to for all your daily fantasy fantasies.

Today we will go over what transpired in yesterday’s Thursday Night Football game and how it affected GPP. We also had a full Thursday of NHL and some more NBA preseason action as we gear up for what promises to be a thrilling football Sunday.

Thursday’s Big Winners

Before we trot on to today, let’s take a look back at yesterday to see who took home all the dough.

In NHL last night there was a full 11-game slate, which means there was a major amount of variance in everyone’s lineups. For instance, look at the winner of the DraftKings NHL $50K SNIPER GPP from last night. The winner suidmach had basically all their players under 10% owned, which is the winning recipe to bink one of these huge tournaments.

Patric Hornqvist from the Pittsburgh Penguins was just 1.7% owned, and put up a crooked eight DK points off of one goal from five shots, an assist, and a blocked shot!

His goalie, Jacob Markstrom from the Vancouver Canucks, brought home the win for not only his squad but for suidmach too.

Add on some Minnesota Wild and a sprinkle of Canadiens and there you have it, a stun-acious creation equaling up to a nice first place prize of 1,000 bucks.

Not bad for $3.
