In Case You Missed It
- One More Seat – The only major qualifier that ran last night was the $200 FanDuel DFBC Q. There were 252 entries, and while ganondorf got 2 out of the top 6 spots, theclone just barely edged him out by .25 points for the trip to Vegas for the finals. The guy to own last night was Clayton Kershaw, who threw 9 shut out innings with 15 Ks for a whopping 28 FanDuel points.
- World Cup – The Netherlands, Chile, and Croatia each won their respective matches in yesterday’s World Cup action. To many people’s surprise, defending champion Spain has lost both of it’s first two games, making it certain that they won’t be advancing to the next round
Today’s Events
- Tonight’s Action – We have one of the odder schedules that I’ve seen in the MLB today, even for a Thursday. There are 12 games on the slate today, but 5 of them will begin before 7 p.m. and one of those 5 starts at just after 6, meaning that the starting lineups are very unlikely to be available when the early cames kick off at noon. On the flip side, a 7 game night schedule should at least keep it a little entertaining if you’re looking for some action after you get out of work (I meant DFS guys – family site, remember?).
