Weekend Update
- Weekend Winners
Fanduel awarded two more seats to the live DFBC Vegas final on Friday in the $1095 qualifier. Grinders members v1ll1on and fantasyalarm took down the the top two spots and are headed to Vegas August 16th. Also on Friday, Mcjester took first, second, and third in the $65k Friday Monster with 3 unique lineups.
Draftstreet DSBC Qualifier #28 was won by grinders member Knickgilman on Friday night with a score of 71.
On Sunday it was DirtyGirl15(183.15 points) narrowly beating Jdubsadubs(182.85) and CSURAM88(180.5) to win the 10k first prize in the 40k Perfect Game on Draftkings.
- World Cup
The knockout round of the World Cup began this weekend with two games Saturday and two more Sunday.
On Saturday Brazil beat Chile in a thrilling penalty kick shootout. Later on Saturday Colombia shut out Uruguay 2-0 thanks to James Rodriguez 2 goal effort.
On Sunday the Netherlands came from behind to stun Mexico 2-1 and advanced in the tournament. In the late game Costa Rica advanced to the quarter finals for the first time ever after 5-3 penalty shootout win over Greece.
There are two more matches today the first France vs Nigeria at noon and Germany vs Algeria at 4:00pm. Both matches can been seen on ESPN. The next match for the U.S.A is Tuesday at 4:00pm.

- Trout’s Dong
On Friday Mike Trout hit the longest home run by an American league player since ESPN began recording dong length in 2006. The 489 foot shot off Royals pitcher Jason Vargas is also the longest shot in all of MLB since August of 2012 when Giancarlo Stanton hit a 494 foot dong at Coors Field.
