So come with me and frolic through this past weekend’s ups, downs and the you’ve got to be kidding mes.

The DFS Showdown: Team Chalk vs. Team Crazy — Round 3

As promised the Rise & Grind is here to run through round three of the ultimate showdown between Team chalk (Derek Carty & Dean79804) vs Team Crazy (Stevietpfl & TheSeigeDFS). First things first, I threw up a poll on my personal twitter to see who the fans (that would be you people) slotted to win the third head-to-head battle between these two teams.

Here were the results.

So by majority vote (which was kinda skewed since it was re-tweeted by TheSeigeDfs) Team Crazy was the favorite by twitter folk.

What actually happened?

Well after what looked like a clear getaway for Team Chalk, Scott Kazmir their SP2 went down with an apparent chest injury after throwing one inning and allowing two hits in it and finishing with a whopping 1.05 DK points.

This was right before Mark Trumbo completed his impressive game with a bomb in extras to hoist the the O’s over the Snakes. Mark Trumbo ended with 21 DK points from two hits including his walk-off home run in the bottom of the 12th inning.

Check out who the teams put out in the third installment of this DFS competition.

Final Score Team Crazy: 114.80 Team Chalk: 96

The series is now 2-1 in favor of Team Chalk.

What would a run through of the showdown be without reaction from the two teams. Team Chalk was pretty tilted with the crumbling of one Mr. Scott Kazmir. Here are a few gems from my own twitter feed.

Sunday’s Big Winners

Another Sunday in the books; time to see who walked away with that huge chunk of change totaling in a million buckeroonies. But alas there was a TIE in the most sought out contest in NFL DFS. Both papagates, a familiar name on the leaderboard, and cmo_22wesley scored a huge 247.2 DraftKings points last night in DraftKings’ NFL $4.44M FANTASY FOOTBALL MILLIONAIRE [$1M TO 1ST] and scrambled away with some big coin. Both rosters got an insane game from Terrelle Pryor Sr; Terrelle went off scoring 34.9 DK points from a rushing TD, 144 receiving yards from 8 receptions and 35 passing yards through the air. Dude was everywhere yesterday!

Here’s one of the winning lineups.
