Welcome to the RotoGrinders cup o’morning joe. Start your day off right here, as we sort through the yesterday’s happenings and take a peek at the upcoming DFS day.

In Case You Missed It

Madness Begins – The results of last night’s play-in games are in and the field of 64 is set for March Madness. There are plenty of ways to get a piece of the action here at RotoGrinders. The simplest and cheapest way to participate is in the Grinders-only bracket challenge on FantasyHub. The winners get a free trip to the 2016 Final Four. If you are looking for some DFS action, we got you covered there too. FanDuel is running a Survive the Madness Tournament at the $100 price point. You only need to stay in the top 40% to advance, so it plays mostly like a double up until the end. Over on DraftKings, you can get in on a four-day survivor for only $20. First place pays out $20,000. There are also plenty of other GPPs on both sites if you aren’t the survivor type.

FanDuel Android App – One of the most requested features by the RG community is a FanDuel Android App. FanDuel already offers an amazing iPhone app, which in my opinion offers a better experience than the full site. FanDuel has heard our concerns and is developing a full app for Android users. The main roadblock is that Google does not allow paid gaming apps in the Google play store. When a FanDuel app is designed, it will not be distributed through the Google play store. In the meantime, FanDuel has developed a live scoring app, which can be downloaded in the Google store. This app will offer the same live scoring features that iPhone users have now. The only difference will be that users cannot enter games using the app. They will have to continue to use the mobile site for that. For more details on the app, check out DillingerFour’s forum thread.

DraftKings Partners with WWE – Ohhhhhhhhhh Yeeeaaaaaahhhhhh! (Randy Savage voice) DraftKings has signed an agreement to partner with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). No, this does not mean WWE DFS. Instead, DraftKings will be running contests to win exclusive WWE prizes, including a trip to the SuperSlam. If wrestling is still real to you, be sure to check out the great prizes DraftKings will be offering as part of this deal.

NBA Last Night – What a night in the association last night. Russell Westbrook continued to do his thing. At this point, you can safely lock Westbrook into your lineup and expect nothing less than 50 FanDuel points. LaMarcus Aldridge was touted by Ohnjz in yesterday’s NBA Advanced Matchups and he did not disappoint. If you aren’t reading Ohnjz’s piece everyday, you are missing out on some quality info. Lastly, Reggie Jackson picked up maybe the ugliest triple double in the history of the NBA. Reggie finished with an 11/11/10 line. If you had Reggie on DraftKings, I know you were sweating with two minutes left when he had 9/9/9. Yay for milestone bonuses though. That last basket, two rebounds, and assist were worth 12 points on DK vs. 5.9 on FanDuel.

Big Winners – On FanDuel, theclone punched his ticket to Miami in the WFBC qualifier and also won the Monster. RG expert neogamer finished right behind theclone in both, picking up a second place finish in the monster. On the ice, chickenhawk17 won the FanDuel Goal for the second night in a row. In CBB, Grinder Stewburtx8 won the Alley Oop. Over on DraftKings, gn1ghtmoon won the 3-ball (I also read that story to my son before bed), geotico claimed second in the Return of the Bird, and Grinder gpielech won the CBB Full Court Press. On The Menu

NCAA Today – I already mentioned the survivor tournaments on FD and DK today. There are quite a few other GPPs on those sites, as well as the other sites that offer CBB. If you want to get in on the Madness, you have until 12:15 PM EST. Scott121422 has CBB Daily Plays up and Varncass has NCAA Tournament Plays as well as the CBB Grind Down for our premium members.

NHL Tonight – With 10 games on the schedule, we will have a full slate of content today on RotoGrinders. TheTonyM will bring you NHL Daily Plays, Pepsi7 will bring you NHL GPP Plays and The Frozen Five, then at 5:30 PM EST Pepsi7 will join Billsfan777 to discuss the number 7 and their NHL picks for tonight.

NBA Tonight – We have a very interesting four-game slate for NBA tonight. Notorious has his First Look up already. I haven’t read it yet but I’m guessing he likes a few of the Jazz players in a matchup against the Lakers. I would tend to agree. In fact, if this slate had a name, it would be “Gobert or Go Home”. There is also still lots of room on the Rodney Hood bandwagon. Later today Notorious will have a detailed look at every game in the NBA Grind Down. Socky will also have the Starting Five and Ohnjz will be bringing you NBA Advanced Matchups. I’m sure those guys will be able to come up with some non-Jazz picks.

Another great source of players not on the Jazz is #NarrativeStreet. Sadly, with only four games the usual narratives are lacking a bit. Instead, tonight you should look at a slightly type of narrative. The Knicks and Timberwolves are both 14-53, which is tied for last place. Both teams are only two games behind (ahead?) of the 76ers. In short, this is a must lose game for both teams. The Timberwolves will no doubt “rest” their injured players but what will the Knicks do to make sure they put a worse team on the court? Will they bench Shved if he’s playing too well? Maybe give Travis Wear extended minutes? Tune in tonight to find out. March NBA DFS, it’s FAN-TASTIC!
