Welcome to the RotoGrinders cup o’morning joe. Start your day off right here, as we sort through yesterday’s happenings and take a peek at the upcoming DFS day.

In Case You Missed It

Victiv Mobile – With a $150,000 NBA Championship running on Friday, the guys at Victiv are staking their claim as the best small site you don’t play on (unless you do). Victiv launched in September 2014 and quickly established itself as one of the better niche sites out there. The guys at Victiv are always pushing the envelope but definitely value user feedback as part of that process. One of the complaints from this community was heard loud and clear. The lack of a mobile-friendly option made playing on Victiv difficult for Grinders who set lineups or make changes from their phone. Yesterday, Victiv launched its beta mobile version. If you haven’t tried out Victiv, this week is the perfect time. Tonight, there is a $5 Championship Satellite that pays out both cash and tickets. This same contest has run the last few days at various price points and only filled to about 70%. Sign up through our RotoGrinders link and you can play The Victron without ever making a deposit.

Gobert or Go Home – If you watched last night’s Jazz/Timberwolves game, you are either a DFS player, or a fan of boring basketball. That’s originally how this game was sold, and for the most part it lived up to that label. The game wasn’t remotely competitive, but the game within the game more than made up for it. With about five minutes left in the second quarter, Andrew Wiggins showed absolutely no respect for Rudy Gobert’s elite rim protecting skills. Wiggins turned the “Stifle Tower” into a poster and it was beautiful. Let’s take a look.

Nice dunk Andrew! You do realize that was Rudy Gobert you just dunked on, right? You know, the guy who leads the NBA in blocks since January 1st? I wouldn’t recommend poking “The Bear”. Andrew Wiggins fears no man, or bear, or stifle tower though. Not even 30 seconds later, Wiggins tried again, and this time it didn’t go so well. Watch the end of the GIF below. Gobert even gives Wiggins “the flex”. You don’t mess with the Stifle Tower (twice).

Big Winners – If I’m being honest, we are all winners for getting to watch that Wiggins/Gobert exchange. Some Grinders actually won a decent amount of cash list night as well though. On FanDuel, wilco999 took down the Slam and enlow took second in the Shot. In NHL, willp133 took second in the breakaway, kkrogs01 took down the Goal, and woopdeedoo took down the Monster.

Over on DraftKings, AshyL4rry kicked off Championship Week by taking down the $200K Post Up. For those of you who don’t know, Ashy Larry was a participant in the World Series of dice. It’s good to see Larry giving DFS a try. Either that or AshyL4rry on DK isn’t the real Ashy Larry, but it could be. Other winners included littlebrows, who took second and fourth in the Pick and Roll, and suntzujim who won the WSOP qualifier. Meanwhile in DK NHL, Thanks4DaChedda claimed first and second in the Face-Off. (You are welcome for the “chedda”, Sir) and I_Slewfoot_U won the Triple Deke. On The Menu

NHL Tonight – Championship Week continues on DraftKings with the $100K Triple Deke. For $300 you can get a piece of the action and a shot at the $40,000 first place prize. With seven games on the schedule, this slate is perfect for both the expert and amateur. We will have a full slate of content today here on RotoGrinders. Boggslite will bring you Daily Plays and Pepsi7 has GPP plays and the Frozen Five covered. Pepsi and Boggs will also be on the Daily Fantasy Face-Off at 3:30 PM EST on GrindersLive to answer your questions and break down every game.

CBB Tonight – With both the NIT and NCAA Tournament wrapping up, tonight offers one of your last chances to play CBB. There are only two games on the schedule, starting with Miami at Temple and then Stanford at Old Dominion. While there aren’t any scheduled CBB articles, you can always join the CBB discussion in the forums.

NBA Tonight – If you are still playing NBA Hokey Pokey, (aka, you’re in, you’re out, you’re in again) tonight’s four-game slate has plenty to offer. Basically, the entire Atlanta Hawks team is questionable or doubtful. As of this writing, Vegas has not even posted a line for that contest. A missing Vegas line won’t deter Notorious from breaking everything down for you though. He already has his First Look posted and the NBA Grind Down will be available later today. The other usual offerings including Starting Five, Advanced Matchups, and two hours of GrindersLive will also be available. If it is narratives you seek, I apologize, but there are no obvious ones yet. You can follow RotoNarratives on Twitter and we will tweet out any we come across. If you have one of your own, leave it in the comments or post it on Twitter.

The Bottom Line – With NBA winding down, it’s time to find a new DFS sport to pass the time until NFL. If MLB is your preferred option, make sure to follow MLBHR on Twitter. That account is an official RG account that tweets out every “dong” (dinger, HR, you get the point) as it happens. There will also be some promos to win RG swag. While you are at it, follow MLBTopPerformer for a daily rundown of the top performers as their games end.

If MLB isn’t your thing, try giving PGA a shot. The new tools here at RG are a great place to start. Tonight, Devo and Gibbathy will be on GrindersLive After Dark talking PGA for the Shell Houston Open this weekend. After your NBA and NHL lineups lock, be sure to stop back by and get some PGA advice from the pros.
