Rise & Grind: Wednesday, November 2nd
Merry hump day and welcome to the Rise & Grind, the spot on RotoGrinders where you not only get to see what went down last night, you also get a sneak peek into today’s adventures in the world of DFS.
Today we will show you some sick new updates to the FanDuel extensions on both Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers.
Then, we will announce another RotoGrinders contributor who hit it BIG, this time on FanDuel, along with the other big winners of Tuesday night.
Next up is the winner of the Rise & Grind NBA Freeroll; see who will be receiving a brand new deck of RotoGrinders playing cards.
Finally, the GrindersLive Schedule will be posted so you can make time to check out the shows live, and get those lineups souped up before lock.
Enough with the chitter chatter, here we go.
RotoGrinders FanDuel Browser Extension Updates
Nicole Valencia is back at it with a brand new batch of updates for your favorite RotoGrinders FanDuel browser extension. These updates will be available for both Chrome and Firefox. Some updates were made to the player exposure calculations that are displayed under the ‘Upcoming’ and ‘Live’ tabs in FanDuel. If you are unfamiliar with how the player exposure feature works, in short, it allows you to see your ownership exposure to an individual player across all of your lineups.
Here are the new features:
Separate Slates/Lump All Slates – Prior to this update, all of the exposure calculations were separated out by slate. Now you have the option to toggle between calculating by separate slates or lumping all slates for a sport into a single calculation. This can be done for both upcoming and live lineups. The text displayed in the button will tell you your current setting, just click on the button to switch modes.
Total dollars – In addition to the existing ‘Total Entries’ and ‘Unique Lineups’ calculation options, a ‘Total Dollars’ option has been added. It’s pretty much self-explanatory – the exposure percentage will display the total dollar amount you have invested in a player relative to the total dollar amount you have invested, either for each individual slate or for all slates, depending on which setting you are using for the slate option.
Exclude/Include Lineup – This feature only exists for upcoming lineups. You now have the ability to exclude a lineup from the exposure calculation by turning off the ‘Included in % owned’ setting for that individual lineup. Just click on the button to change the setting (displayed below). You can exclude/include as many lineups as you want. This feature is designed to give you control over the various ownership calculations you want and need to run. For example, you could exclude a lineup that you are only using in head-to-head contests to see your tournament exposure to a certain player. Then, you could include just your cash lineups and exclude your tournament teams and ‘Lump All Slates’ to see your cash exposures for the coming NFL weekend across all your different slates.
If you already have the ‘RotoGrinders – FanDuel Tools’ extension installed and are running Chrome the update with these new features should happen automatically. Version 3.5 is the latest version. If you need to install the extension for the first time, click here!
If you are using Firefox, the latest version is going through the approval process. The link of the latest version will be posted once Mozilla approves it.

Tuesday’s BIG Winners
Remember when Jakz101 hit it HUGE on Sunday? Well, the experts are at it again; our very own Notorious took down the FanDuel $125K Tue NBA Baller, nabbing that 25k first prize.
Let’s dissect his winning lineup:
We’ll start with one of his power forwards; a guy that all of us are apprehensive to roster, the elusive and fragile Anthony Davis. Davis is having an amazing start to this season, averaging a whopping 69.8 DK and 67.2 FD points a game! He didn’t stop last night, gobbling up 35 points and 15 rebounds, and ending his night with a nice 67 FD points.
Next, we’ll check out Notorious’ shooting guard Giannis Antetokounmpo (yes, I had to copy & paste), who Greek Freaked his way to 24 points, 10 boards, 7 assists, finishing with 51.5 FD points. Dude has been a beast, almost averaging a double-double each game; even with the small sample size, it’s pretty impressive.
Check out the rest of Notorious’ $25,000 lineup below:
CONGRATULATIONS NOTO!
