Now I don’t want to be overly dramatic, but I am really starting to feel the mental pressures of roto-grinding. So much so, that I had to take Sunday off just to sit back and reflect on the horrific week I had. Now, granted, all I cared about was watching the Steelers game, but I also had no more money left in the bankroll. What started off as such a positive week after placing in the Wednesday Slam, turned out to be one of my worst weeks to date. On top of the fact that I got obliterated in NBA this week, is the fact that my beloved Steelers lost. After depositing $50 literally 5 minutes ago, there are officially sad times at Roto-Grinding High.

Yes, I know, it is a terrible joke, and probably doesn’t even make sense. But it’s 11:13 on a Sunday night, my football team just lost a heartbreaker, and my fiancé is making me watch Glee, so it’s the best I could come up with. And if I was more secure in my manhood, I may even admit, that I, um, like it. Damn, I guess I just did admit it in a round-about way. As if things couldn’t get any worse, I have just outted myself in print for all three of my followers to see. Sorry Mom and Dad!

So to all my fellow RotoGrinders who have had to make that dreaded trip to the “add funds” icon on Fanduel, I feel for you, and know how it feels. You start to question yourself, and have to ask yourself if you can go on with the grind. At some point things have to turn around, right? Maybe…maybe not. Well, for the sake of this blog, and because I am a huge Journey fan, I refuse to stop believing in myself. I know I have the talent to do well, and after making my second lame joke in this blog, I feel my roto man-card is on the line. I need to come back strong this week, and I am looking to turn $50 into a minimum of $200.
I am starting with a $10 (10) man on Monday, and hopefully will give myself a little cushion with a win. As soon as I am finished watching Glee, um…I mean, finished writing this blog, I am going to start researching for tomorrow. I am sick of losing, and need to get back on the winning train!

Wish me luck…and I wish you all luck. Happy grinding!
