The New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs will kickoff from Arrowhead Stadium at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.

If looking to wager on the player prop market for Saints vs. Chiefs, we have 3 prop leans to consider for Monday Night Football!

Saints vs. Chiefs – NFL Player Props

Patrick Mahomes OVER 18.5 Rushing Yards (-115, DraftKings)

Everyone is trying to solve the puzzle of who will receive all of the leftover targets in the Kansas City offense with Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown out, but what if it simply means more opportunities for Patrick Mahomes to run? Mahomes had 29 rushing yards against the Bengals in a game earlier this season and has 12+ rushing yards in 3 consecutive games entering play in Week 5. Mahomes cleared this market number in 14 games in 2023, so there is proof of concept here, even if the recent results have been slightly underwhelming. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Mahomes find the end zone with his legs tonight either.

Xavier Worthy UNDER 3.5 Receptions (-118, Bally)

Xavier Worthy, selected in the 1st round of this past summer’s draft, is a logical choice to assume WR1 duties in this Kansas City offense with Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown on the mend. However, it’s worth noting that Worthy has never been a possession receiver. In 4 games to begin his rookie year in the NFL, Worthy has yet to have more than 3 receptions or 4 targets in a single contest. In his final year at Texas, Worthy had 4 receptions or fewer in 6 of his final 12 games. Worthy is more likely to get targeted downfield than he is in the short-yardage game. This play has sneaky value on Monday Night Football.

Travis Kelce OVER 58.5 Receiving Yards (-110, FanDuel)

Tight ends at 35+ years old don’t have a strong track record of production in the NFL, but Travis Kelce might be able to buck that historical trend based on volume alone. After WR Rashee Rice left last weekend’s game early due to injury, Kelce led all Kansas City pass catchers with 7 receptions and 9 targets. No other member of the Chiefs’ receiving corps had more than 4 targets. Simply, Kelce is going to be fed early and often with Kansas City missing both of their top-two running backs and both of their top-two wide receivers. This is a good matchup for him as well, facing a New Orleans defense that has struggled against opposing tight ends to begin 2024.
