2022 Shriners Hospital for Children Open Weather Forecast and Projections for TPC Summerlin

We’re teeing off for the Shriners Hispital for Children Open Open in Vegas this week, and the weather couldn’t look much better.

As usual in my Golf weather forecasts, we’re focusing more on wind than rain. While rain can halt play if it’s heavy enough, it also helps to soften and slow the course, meaning it helps as much as it hurts. With wind there’s no helpful side, it’s all negative impact, and the impact can lead to dramatic differences in scoring. My goal is always to try and highlight the timeframe with the lightest winds, the time with the strongest winds, and to see if there’s a cumulative advantage for one wave over another. You can use then use this to your advantage making your picks on DFS sites and sportsbooks.

Overall Shriners Hospital for Children Open Weather Forecast

As I mentioned in the intro, when it comes to finding a usable and predictable edge for PGA, wind matters a lot more than rain. In this case we don’t have a whole lot of either, as the tournament will play dry with relatively light winds. Afternoons will be a hair breezier than in the mornings, but we’re still talking about very manageable winds even at the breeziest times. Stay tuned to @KevinRothWx for the latest.
