Brandon Ingram – Ingram, a 1st time all-star this season, averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists. He attempted 6.3 three pointers per game, making a career-best 39.1%. Ingram was also just named the NBA’s Most Improved Player. All of this comes to him at only 22 years old. His prices have stayed relatively flat over the last few months as well. This points to Ingram being a solid investment in my eyes. I think a realistic expectation for Ingram is multiple all star games and possible scoring champ. He has all of the tools to push towards being a 30 point per game scorer. Some people will worry about Zion taking points away or taking popularity away from Ingram but I think the opposite. A team with Zion will be an exciting team to watch. They will be playing on National TV on the regular and they will be scoring points in bunches. I recommended picking up some Ingram now for a long term hold.

Giannis Antetokounmpo – The Bucks avoided the sweep but I don’t think there is any chance that they come back to win this series. They just haven’t looked great and now with Giannis nursing an ankle injury, their season is about to be over. I don’t really need to say much about Giannis. He’s a multi-time MVP and defensive player of the year. He’s still only 25 and has room left to improve even more. With all that said, I think now would be a good time to sell some, not all, of your Giannis and lock in some profit. His prices have already started to pull back over the last few weeks and they will probably continue to do so over the offseason. If you got in on some Giannis cards several years ago then you will see a nice ROI that you could re-invest into the “next Giannis” or next up and coming star that you’re high on.
