Stack Em Up: An Early Look at 2013 Stacking
Stacking is a hot topic in daily fantasy sports right now, but this article has NO interest in getting into the debate of whether or not it should be allowed. Seriously, don’t bring it up. Instead, I want to take a look at some of the top teams to stack for 2013 to help your stacking strategy. With a focus on 10+ run games, I’ll breakdown which teams have been most stackable and best to stack against so far this season.
First, let’s take a look at the team by team breakdown for ten run games. Shown below is a chart with each team’s total ten run games, and ten run games allowed. Also shown is the max number of runs scored or allowed (given that they have or have allowed 10 runs in a game).

The three teams that have been most stackable so far are:
1) Cincinnati Reds – 6 Games with 10+ Runs
T-2) Detroit Tigers – 5 Games with 10+ Runs

Least Stackable Teams
5 teams have yet to hit that 10-run scoring mark in a game this season and have probably let down quite a few stackers on the way:
1) Chicago Cubs
2) Chicago White Sox
3) LA Dodgers
4) Philadelphia Phillies
5) Seattle Mariners
Best Teams To Stack Against
Not too many surprises on this list, except the Angels on top, as it’s not too hard to tell which pitching staffs are the worst:
1) LA Angels – 5 Games Allowed
2) Cleveland Indians – 4 Games Allowed
3) Houston Astros – 4 Games Allowed
4) Philadelphia Phillies – 4 Games Allowed
5) Seattle Mariners – 4 Games Allowed
6) Toronto Blue Jays – 4 Games Allowed
Worst Teams To Stack Against
These teams have yet to allow an opponent to score 10 or more runs all season:
1) Baltimore Orioles
2) NY Yankees
3) Texas Rangers
