EARLY SLATE
Happy Saturday, Grinders! We have the usual split-slate Saturday on tap for us today, and the sites have of course split it up differently. The 6:00 start between the Twins and Rays isn’t on any early slate, so we can cross that one off the list. The remaining five early games are included on the afternoon slate on DraftKings and FantasyDraft, while FanDuel is offering just a three game slate which does not include the two 4:00 starts. As such, we cannot target the CLE/BAL and PIT/PHI games on FanDuel.
As usual, let’s begin with a quick breakdown of the early slate!
Early Slate Pitching – The Clear-Cut Top Option
No matter what site you are playing on for the early slate, Carlos Martinez stands out as the top pitching option available. No, I’m not just saying this because I am a Cardinals fan and happen to be in St. Louis to attend this weekend’s series. Martinez just dominated this same Cincinnati Reds team last weekend, and, in case you haven’t noticed, the Reds are… well, bad.
