Sunday Night Football Betting Picks: Seahawks at Rams

The Seattle Seahawks squeaked out a one-point victory in their Week 5 meeting with the Los Angeles Rams. It’s not the only game the Seahawks have squeaked out this season. Seattle is 10-2, in part, thanks to a series of close victories beginning in Week 2 with a 28-26 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. In Week 6 they won in Cleveland by four points. The fact that the Seahawks are 10-2 is quite remarkable considering their 36+ point differential. In fact, no team in NFL history has more wins through 12 games with as small of a point differential. For perspective, look at the point differentials of the other two-loss teams in the NFL:

Seattle has only outscored its opponents by 3 points more than the Rams (7-5), and their point differential is actually worse than the Vikings (8-4), Cowboys (6-7) and Chiefs (8-4). Seattle’s luck runs out Sunday night.

Tyler Lockett Over 12.5 Fantasy Points at PointsBet – GridironIQ projects Tyler Lockett to for 16.64 fantasy points, making Over 12.5 significantly better value than betting on Lockett Over 74.5 receiving yards (GridironIQ projects Lockett to have 78 yards)>

Tyler Higbee +1800 First Touchdown – Albeit against Arizona’s funnel defense, Higbee exploded for seven catches, 107 yards, and a touchdown last week. Rams’ starting tight end Gerald Everett is expected to be out again Sunday night, which sets Higbee up for the lion’s share of snaps. The last time the Rams and Seahawks met, the duo combined for 180 yards receiving on 10 receptions. Everett was healthy at the time, but Higbee still contributed with 47 yards and three catches. Higbee is in a good spot to find the end zone Sunday night. Hopefully he’ll be the first to get there.
