Texans vs. Cowboys – NFL Player Props
- Cooper Rush Over/Under 169.5 Passing Yards
- Nico Collins Over/Under 75.5 Receiving Yards
- Joe Mixon Over/Under 89.5 Rushing Yards
Cooper Rush OVER 169.5 Passing Yards (-110, Bet365)
Cooper Rush was the worst quarterback on the field in Week 10. He finished the week ranked last among quarterbacks in EPA/play and success rate – and by significant margins. The good news is that Rush can only go up from here. He also gets a much more favorable matchup in Week 11, facing a Houston defense that will be without their top pass rusher and perhaps one of their more talented secondary unit starters. Rush had a stretch of 3 consecutive games in 2022 with 215+ passing yards. He is capable of getting to that number tonight if things go according to plan.
Nico Collins UNDER 75.5 Receiving Yards (-103, Caesars)
Nico Collins has been arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL this season when healthy. He is reportedly healthy and ready to go for Monday Night Football and without limitations, but it remains to be seen how effective he is in his return to the field. After missing a month of action, there is a genuine risk that his conditioning could be down a notch, which would force Houston to monitor his workload more than is usual for a player of his caliber. Asking for north of 75 receiving yards is never a gimme, especially for a player who hasn’t played in quite some time.
Joe Mixon UNDER 89.5 Rushing Yards (-115, Caesars)
Joe Mixon has been one of the NFL’s true bell cows in 2024, receiving 24+ carries in 5 of his 7 games played. Tonight, he gets one of the best matchups in the league for a running back, facing a Dallas run defense that enters play ranked 27th in DVOA this season. However, there is a possibility that Mixon sees his workload reduced a little bit in this spot, given that Houston has a divisional opponent on tap 6 days from now. Nico Collins returning to the field could also, in theory, open up the team’s passing attack a little bit more. This is a tall number, and there are a lot of different ways that Mixon could end up short of 90 yards.
