The 2019 DraftKings Fantasy Basketball World Championship - Live Coverage

It’s officially time for the DraftKings Fantasy Basketball World Championship. Live from the shadows of the Golden Gate Bridge, the 100 contestants have locked in their lineups and we’ll follow along as the night progresses and the sweat intensifies. At the end of the night, DraftKings will hand out $4,000,000 in prizes, with the champion walking away with $500,000.

8:37 PMBam Adebayo jumps out to a quick start, and at 60% owned in this Live Final, he’ll be a difference-maker this evening. He’s posted 27 DK points by halftime and we currently have a two-way tie atop the leaderboard

9:08 PM – Chess_is_ok found a hidden gem in 4% owned Kelly Olynyk. He’s already pushing 7X value and it’s still just the 3rd Quarter.

10:10 PM – Well, chess_is_ok is likely a bigger fan of DFS basketball right now than the game of chess. He’s opened a big lead for first place, and has also climbed into second place with a different entry. There’s still plenty of time for things to change, but this is a very impressive showing from the 14th ranked Grinder!

11:04 PM – chess_is_ok still has a solid lead, but our very own squirrelpatrol has climbed his way into second place and could still make this very, very interesting!

11:34 PM – Well, we knew a late charge might be coming, but it didn’t end up coming from squirrelpatrol, but rather RagingPhillip who took the lead in the last minute of action. What a wild ride!

It’s official: RagingPhillip is the champ and the winner of $500,000!
