Smith has been inconsistent this season. Some weeks, he’s on a heater and can’t be cooled down, while other weeks, he puts up pedestrian numbers. Although the Bears defense has regressed recently, I don’t like this matchup for Smith. Williams has played well this season, given the circumstances, and 222.5 feels like a reachable target after he threw for 334 last week against the Detroit Lions.
Smith-Njigba has surpassed Metcalf as the most targeted option in the Seahawks offense in the second half of the season. The sample size is large enough now that I think it’s safe to assume Smith will throw to Smith-Njigba much more than Metcalf.
